This policy explains what Astrowatch does with the information you give us when you shop here. It covers this site and orders taken over the phone or on social media.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, mobile number, email address if you give one, the delivery address, and what you ordered. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not store a password for you.

If you start a checkout and leave without finishing, we keep what you had typed — usually a name and a phone number — so we can call and ask whether you still want the order. Tell us to delete it and we will.

The site also records the technical details every website sees, such as the address your connection arrives from, and stores a small cookie that remembers what is in your bag.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your card details. Online payments are handled by the payment gateway on its own pages; it tells us only whether the payment succeeded.

What we use it for

To confirm and deliver your order, to hand the delivery address to the courier, to honour warranties and returns, to answer your questions, and to keep the accounts a business has to keep. We also use it to call you about an order you left unfinished.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

Only the people who have to: the courier who delivers your parcel, the payment gateway if you pay online, and anyone the law requires us to tell. Our own systems are run on servers we control.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as the accounts and warranty periods require. An unfinished checkout is kept while it is still worth calling about, and then it goes.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to [email protected] or call 01710232730 and we will deal with it.

You can refuse cookies in your browser. The bag needs its cookie to remember what you put in it, so checkout will not work without it.

Changes
